Meagan is Caribbean’s best

THE CARIBBEAN’S NEWEST squash champion will be going for the world.

Barbadian Meagan Best was victorious at the recently concluded 24th Caribbean Senior Squash Championships at the Queen’s Park Squash Complex in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

“I am not stopping there [Caribbean Senior Squash Championships]. Conquering the Caribbean is one thing, but you still have to go to the international stage,” Best told MIDWEEK SPORT.

The St Michael School student, and formerly of St Angela’s, said she started playing squash when she was about nine years old and she was brought into the sport because her parents used to play; they carried her on the court to let her hit some balls.
